Gary graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1970 with a BASc and in 1984 with a MASc in Geological Engineering. He is a registered engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of the Province of British Columbia and a member of the CIM, Society of Economic Geologists and the Geologic Association of Canada. He has 40 years of experience in all stages of mineral exploration, development and production. Mr. Giroux is an independent consultant, specializing in resource estimation, and has consulted both nationally and internationally in this field. He has authored papers on geostatistics and ore reserve estimation, has practiced as a Geological Engineer since 1970 and provided geostatistical services to the industry since 1976. Gary formed Giroux Consultants Ltd. in 1996.
